Melanie Bartoletti, a Bay Area native, has made the Tri-Valley her home for the last 25 years. Melanie prides herself in helping her clients reach their housing goals whether it be buying or selling. She has become well known throughout the East Bay for her Tips for Change fundraising events held at her award winning restaurant, Gianni's Italian Bistro. These events raise over $100,000 annually for local charities. She is the Founder and past director of SonRise Equestrian Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses horses to enrich the lives of children dealing with social, emotional and physical challenges.
In 2010, Melanie received Diablo Magazine's Threads of Hope Award as well as the Jefferson Award for her outstanding contributions while working with her Foundation. In 2013, she received Diablo Magazine’s Food award for great service provided at Gianni’s. In 2014 she received the” Business Person of the Year” award by the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce.
In 2015, her restaurant, Gianni’s Italian Bistro, won the business of the year award by the Danville Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, her restaurant was selected by Catherine Baker as California Small Business of the Year in the 16th Assembly District.
Melanie has a Bachelor's degree in Christian Leadership from Patten University. She is a graduate of the San Ramon Valley Leadership Class of 2013/2014. Melanie has served on the San Ramon Chamber Board of Directors and on the Advisory Council for Agape Villages Foster Care Agency. Her passions include spending quality time with her family and friends, hiking with her dogs and riding her horses. She has deep roots in our community and is motivated to help others.
